Classy Predictions - Regular season complete

The regular season has concluded, as have the regular season predictions from the Section 117 Classy Gentlemen. Unfortunately, those who benefitted in the Gophers clash with the Spartans were those who picked against our favorite squad, and the Minnesota loss led to the biggest shakeup in the standings all season.

It feels good to be back on top.

Magsh and Higgy were rewarded for pessimism and are now atop the standings at 4-1 apiece. Both have four-game winning streaks after picking against Minnesota against Nebraska in the debut of Classy Predictions. Higgy gets the overall win for nailing the Spartans' margin of victory, although he expected a little more offense from each team. His 24-13 prediction was exactly 10 points high for both squads in the 14-3 Michigan State victory. Magsh was closest to the Gophers' score with seven for the good guys, and Gopher Bandanna Guy suffered his first defeat, but nearly nailed the Spartans' score with his 13-point prediction.

The regular season ends with everyone .500 or better except Curly, who only submitted a pick of a Gopher upset vs. Wisconsin. Rap, Flony, Melissa Magsh and Butler are just a half-game back at 3-1, while Gopher Bandanna Guy is a full game back at 2-1. Big Party, Brooks Magsh and Bruiser are all knotted at 3-2, and Kellen is even at 2-2, but should be recognized for his Gopher optimism.

Here's a prediction for Classy Predictions, but it's hard to see a shakeup in the standings during bowl week, unless someone gets brave and picks the Orange in an upset. We'll see if any Ebenezer Scrooges emerge over the holiday season.
